Oceana / Promotional (Rise Records)
Tes of the Blood Company manages Oceana and wanted my to shoot them for some needed promotional shots. They havent had one that they liked since they returned from their Hiatus. They recently released their EP, Clean Head, which is amazing. It’s an extremely different style compared to their second album, Birth.Eater, so they wanted a happier-styled shoot, rather than the darker stuff they’ve had before to match their harder genre.
Location. Ugh. We found the perfect one, but all the best locations are in front of banks. Got kicked off the property, so we came over here, where we set up, and across the street someone passed out or got robbed or something, so two police cars and a firetruck decided to park right behind where the band is right now, and walk across the street where it was going down. Apparently they left their lights flashing, and when I turned our lights on, they flashed uncontrollably every 0.5 seconds. We went to a location like 10 feet away (Behind the wall to the left, I’ll post one from that location later) until they left. It was frustrating, but I feel like I did get a couple nice shots.
